  • The white hairnet the girl has on was all the rage. My Mom got one It cost ten cents. We were traveling somewhere. I was playing with Mom's hair net, letting it fly in the breeze from the car window. Of course it slipped out of my hand. I memorized what the fence along the road looked like. So if we ever came this way again, we could stop and get Mom's hairnet. I can describe this fence today, 80 years later.

    • @normdoty von Sydow played Ming in the 1980 film of Flash Gordon, but in the original 1936 serial he was played by Charles Middleton

  • At 16:25 Stan Laurel: Well, goodbye Ollie. Oliver Hardy: Goodbye, Stan. Stan Laurel: Good luck. At 17:45 Oliver Hardy: R u ready? Stan Laurel: Goodbye, Ollie. Oliver Hardy: Goodbye, Stanley. At 18:38 Oliver Hardy: R u ready? Stan Laurel: Goodbye, Ollie. Oliver Hardy: Goodbye. & at 19:54 Oliver Hardy: What r u trying to do, talk me out of this? I can't hear to jump in this river, & that's what we're going to do. Now u quit this horsing around, or I'll jump in without u. Stan Laurel: Don't leave me, Ollie. Oliver Hardy: Well, r u ready? Alright. Stan Laurel: Goodbye, Ollie. Oliver Hardy: Shut up. The thing is, Stan Laurel didn't have to say that!!! "Goodbye, Ollie." Four times to Oliver Hardy, I wish he'd say that three times. If like he said it three times too.
